Songambele hospital is Faith Based Organization owned by Catholic Church under Shinyanga Diocese, it has been serving People of Nkololo ward and neighbors in the district of Bariadi for more than 30 years now. A dedicated multidisciplinary team of Doctors, Nurses, Pharmacist, Diagnostic Services team with the administrative and support staff have been offering a high quality, accessible and affordable health services.
The hospital has realized great achievement in terms of services provision, hospital operations and hospital expansion with modern medical equipment’s from its main funder called Roads to Life Tanzania, Including CT scan machine, ECHO, ECG, Portable X-ray, C-arm machine etc. which has been providing funding for the expansion and operation of Songambele Hospital.

OPD is one of the departments of our hospital that provides services such as registering patients, testing all vital signs before going to the doctor, escorting and referring new patients, treating outpatients, HIV testing, cervical cancer testing, TB testing, testing for various diseases and providing wound cleaning services, providing stitches, receiving bills for patients going for treatment, receiving bills for patients discharged from the ward, dispensing medicines and giving them to patients, and supervising the provision of quality services.
