We are looking for suitably qualified people to fill 1 Position of Physiotherapist.

Job Title: Physiotherapist

Job type: one year contract

Reports to: Medical Officer Incharge

Salary: as per Facility Salary Scale

Location: Songambele Hospital- Nkololo Bariadi.

Job Summary:

Physiotherapist with at least one year experience in helping patients recover from injuries, illness or disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible to perform regular assessments of their patients and clients and diagnose their condition to provide the best workable solution to recover.
To explain the medical procedures to treat the patient condition.
To plan proper intervention strategies best suited to the patient’s needs.
To decide on ways and methods to implement selected intervention strategies accurately.
To make regular monitoring and evaluation of the patient’s condition during and after intervention.
Educating patients and healthcare professionals on the effects of poorly maintained body and health and the poor lifestyle choices that can cause chronic illnesses.
To provide consultation to patients and their interprofessional team on disease symptoms and early prevention
To perform other roles and responsibilities assigned by immediate supervisor

Key Skills and Qualifications

Education: Diploma in Physiotherapy. Bachelor of Physiotherapy is an added advantage
Experience: Experience of at least at least one year from recognized facility.
